ABOUT PURPLE RAIN CONSULTING
Calm, capable leadership for work that cannot afford to drift.
Purple Rain Consulting helps organizations move complex operational and technology-enabled work forward with clearer decisions, stronger coordination, and practical project discipline
The name reflects the mission: bring order to the moving parts so teams can focus on the outcome.
FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL
Meet Misty.
Misty Cain is a PMP-certified project and delivery leader whose career spans finance, operations, technology, and client service. Before founding Purple Rain Consulting, she spent years leading complex delivery work—building project practices, guiding clients through change, and coordinating the details that turn plans into results.
Her perspective is deliberately cross-functional. Experience in operational finance helps her understand how work affects the business. Experience in technology delivery helps her communicate across vendors, leaders, and technical teams. And deep project leadership experience helps her keep decisions, people, and execution connected.
Misty works best as a trusted extension of the client team: close enough to understand the real constraints, experienced enough to challenge assumptions, and practical enough to roll up her sleeves when the work needs structure.

WHAT I BELIEVE
Good project leadership makes complexity easier to carry.
01 A project plan is only useful if the people doing the work can use it.
02 Most stalled projects need clearer decisions and ownership—not more meetings.
03 A successful implementation must work for the business after the vendor leaves.
04 Honest visibility is more valuable than a falsely reassuring status report.
